Shepherds Camp Program

Shepherds Camp is an exciting Christian program for teenagers and adults with developmental disabilities. We provide a wide range of activities carefully crafted to suit each individual’s ability and desires.
Shepherds Camp is a residential program providing opportunities to stay at camp for one or two weeks (6 or 13 days). Campers sleep in cabins or dormitories and are cared for by a well-trained staff that is dedicated to providing each individual with one of the best weeks of their year.

Activities include archery, bocce ball, arts and crafts, music, games and sports. Our facility sits on a beautiful clear lake, providing the opportunity for optional waterfront activities including wading, swimming, and boating.

Each week we also provide special programs, including picnics, hayrides, and theme nights. Other events may include visits from special guests, including concerts, puppets, drama teams, and sometimes even clowns!

Christian worship and teaching is central to our program. Each day, campers are provided an opportunity to sing and praise God and learn more about God in Chapel and Bible study. Bible lessons are taught by caring teachers who desire that every person comes to know God and God’s love for them.

Each week campers receive a camp T-shirt and photo to help them remember their time at camp.
