Rock Mountain Family Campground Rates & Booking Information

2010 Rates

Camp Site, basic or water & electric: $23.00

Camp Site, water, electric & sewer: $28.00

Tipi, Family: $30.00

Camping Cabin: $40.00

Cottage: $50.00

  • Listed rates are per night & per immediate family, occasionally doubling-up is permitted on selected sites and requires an additional campsite fee.
  • Organized Groups (not immediate family sharing a site) are subject to per-person rates, Email or call 570-756-2200 x206 for rates.

 

Reservations:

  • Sites & Lodging units are available first-come, first-served.
  • Reservations are accepted from January 1st through the Campground season (May 19-October 13).
  • Check out the Campground Map. Identify multiple site options in the event the site you prefer is already booked.
  • Pay the non-refundable deposit of 1-night site fee by credit card or check.

Camping Options:

Campsites: Choose from 43 lakeside or wooded sites, each has a picnic table, fire ring and its own unique appeal. Basic, water & electric, and water, electric & sewer sites are available.

Tipis: Want a new experience stay in a 24’ diameter tipi. Each has a wood floor, 6 to 8 cots, electric, nearby water spigot, and a handsome mountain view.  

Camping Cabins: Enjoy a bit more comfort and convenience in a camping cabin yet still experience an outdoor adventure. Camping Cabins have 4 bunks, ceiling fan, and screened windows. Nestled under tall hemlocks you’ll find your picnic table, fire ring, water faucet, and charcoal grill. Click for more info and photos.

Cottage: Relax just feet from the lake when you spend time in the cottage. It includes a bathroom with shower, kitchenette with stove, microwave and mini fridge, a small living room, and a bed room with a full size bed. Kids enjoy climbing the ladder to the sleeping loft and rolling out their sleeping bags on a mattress on the floor.

 

FIREWOOD ALERT - As an attempt to help stop the spread of invasive/exotic pests, we are asking all campers to follow the PA DCNR's recommendations concerning firewood: DON'T MOVE FIREWOOD.

In addition, we are complying with PA's FIREWOOD QUARANTINE on all out-of-state firewood. See PA Department of Agriculture web-page for more info on the state-wide FIREWOOD QUARANTINE.
